Commercial Critique's

This is a Doritos commercial that was aired for the super bowl a few years ago. It is definitely one of my favorite commercials so I thought I’d involve it with my critique. This video is hilarious! It isn’t a very detailed commercial with a lot of fancy stuff going on, but it has that special affect with the dog. The commercial is trying to sell the Doritos ships, and is doing it through humor. There is no real narrator, unless you include the actor. I think Doritos did a fantastic job with this commercial.
This is a live action video taken with the gopro cameras. This video is an exciting video showing promoting how these cameras can be used, and that they can be shot with I water. They are trying to sell the gopro camera. I really like the exciting music that they played with it. This is the kind of video I want to emulate for my own video. I will not be promoting a camera, but I will be promoting my images and what kinds of stuff I take pictures with.  I thought this video was very successful. It definitely kept my attention.
This is a live action video. This video is a very exciting commercial promoting one of the old season premiers for one of my favorite TV shows, True Blood. I like how this video blinks showing the different screens shot for this. I always liked those kinds of videos where at one moment someone is doing one thing, and then they are doing something else. This video is promoting the old new season of true blood and trying to sell people to watch it.
This is a live action video. I feel this video is kind of emotional and happy. It looks like it will be a very heartwarming movie on the life of this chimpanzee. The commercial is trying to sell people to come see the movie when it comes out in theaters. The target audience is animal and nature lovers and people who want to support earth day and the living things that we share this planet with. There is a narrator telling you about what the story is about and he is off screen. I feel this is a very successful commercial because of how well they depict the chimpanzee through just a minute of video. The little guy is already tugging at your heart strings.
I am not 100% if this video is live action, stops motion, or animated. It looks somewhat like live action, but I feel they might have animated to show the effect of what happens to the sunchip bag. In my opinion this video has a happy tone, and they are trying to sell their chips to the eco-conscience people out there today. They are selling to them by showing they have biodegradable bags. According to the ad sunchips is the first chip company with a biodegradable bag.

Brochure

Here is my brochure. I decided to keep it simple by just including a lot of my different pictures that I have taken over the years. I am not a person with many words, but I do hold to the saying "a picture is worth a  thousand words." So I thought I would capture my audience through my images. I included different scenery, and different kinds of animals to show all the variety.  For the first page I thought I would put some pictures of myself involved with nature, kind of a get to know your photographer/contact her.

Letterhead

Here is my Letterhead. I kind of wanted to relate it to my business card, so I used the same picture of the elephant within the circle. I feel its simple, but it still shows what I'm specializing in with photography.

Business Card

Here is the front and back of my business card. The front still needs a little work, but this is my general idea for my business card. I wanted to incorporate two of my pictures into my business card just to give a general idea as to what I take pictures of. I am also in love with elephants so I wanted them within my business card as well. So why not use two of my pictures that I have taken of elephants? I wanted the font and information to be simple and to the point so I just have my name, what kind of photography I specialize in, my email, phone number, and twitter account. I've noticed that a lot of business cards now include a twitter account because it is a quick way for people to find you and start contacting you.

Business Card Sketches

Here are my sketches for my business card. I have many ideas for my business card, but I really think I will end up using my photographs within my business card.
